whobody is so GOOD?

As you might be able to tell from the last 2 posts...and probably the next one...we have spent a lot of time on the river this summer with the kids.  The weather has been SUPER hot...and the water has been SUPER low. This combination makes for a great time on the river.

 

The river is blast for everyone in our family....everyone except Cruz. :) As I have stated before, that infant life jacket is anything but comfortable. The times that we took friends on the river...we got a babysitter for Cruz at home...but there were lots of times that it was just us and the kids...and those times Cruz joined us too!

 

And can I just say?....he is SO good. And...so tolerant! He wasn't crazy about the hot rides to and from the sandbar...but was extremely happy when the boat was 'parked', the kids were off the boat, the gates were shut, the shade was up, the life jacket was off, AND the toys were out.  It is like the perfect playpen (with Mom inside!).

Usually, Cruz fell asleep on the way home. I LOVE this because he usually doesn't sleep ON me. This is a kid who just loves to be laid down in his crib, given a blankie and a binkie, and be left alone to fall asleep!

 

 

Okay....so this one was actually a friday night during that cool week in August...we took the kids over to Glen Haven for supper and had a GREAT night on the river! He doesn't look extremely happy here...but rest assured, he was pretty happy the whole night!

Seriously...what a good kid! I am so glad he puts up with us!

 His life is pretty exciting for a 9 month old, don't you think?
