whobody had a 3 day 7th birthday?

Keaton had a 3 day birthday...lucky guy.  First, on Friday he had his friends over after school...then on Saturday (his actual birthday) he opened his gift from us (below) and had a fun day outside and went to a PARADE...and finally, on Sunday we had the family over for another birthday party!!!

one. happy. kid.
Keaton has been really excited about basketball lately, so we got a big basketball hoop for our driveway!  It is taking longer than expected to put it together, so we had to wrap up just the rim for the gift...hopefully the hoop will be usable sometime this week.....

The following are pics from our family birthday party last night. With the nice weather, we were able to have our FIRST outside birthday party ever. (kids birthdays are october, november, december and march....usually not suitable for outside eating).  We had a great night with family. The kids always love playing with their cousins.  We had a nice time visiting with Jason's family...and my sister (she was the representative for my side of the family :)  We had pizza and cupcakes and ice cream! The perfect meal....for Keaton, at least.

Our biggest problem was that I couldn't get the candles to stay lit...so, we lit one and he blew it out...and Keaton was fine with that anyway (he is pretty scared of fire....).

happy kid...

nash just couldn't handle sharing "Grandma Tractor" with Cruz...

"what mom? you can't possibly expect me to eat the cupcake WITHOUT getting this messy?"
(I'm really not quite sure how he got this messy...but he was pretty proud...and we might have to get new folding chairs....)

The kids all had LOTS of fun playing outside

and I would say that Cagney is the PERFECT size to drive this truck...
and Lola is the perfect size to ride in the back!

The kids were having so much fun playing in the yard...I sent Jason to take a picture...I didn't notice it at the time, but Nash is standing ON the table..... nice.

and, as always, the best part...opening presents....

He LOVED everything!

but he said his favorite present was the Cars Squinkies that Lola picked out for him (sweetie)

What a nice, big thank you hug....

He really had a great birthday!
I can't believe he is already SEVEN!!!

  1. Maybe uncle Steve needs to get up there sometime and help with that basketball hoop.
