I'll be honest. Lola was a little worried that she wasn't going to get presents this year. She truly was. It was keeping her up at night....so I would say she was more than relieved when she came out to the livingroom on Christmas morning.
First things first...big surprise, Mom wants a picture of the kids in front of the tree....and big surprise, Nash doesn't really cooperate.... Oh well....great one on of Lola and Cruz below. (side note: Lola is just in LOVE with Cruz....today was her first day back at school after Christmas break, and she did not want to go because she was "going to miss Cruz too much"....)
Here is our Christmas jammies picture...the kids were very excited to rip into their presents....luckily dad was ready with his wire snippers, heavy duty scissors, and screwdriver to help them remove the toys from their packages!

The kids got lots of great presents from Santa (all toys) and they got boring things from us like robes and blankets...and Nash finally got his own backpack! We had a wonderful Christmas morning....and then after we opened gifts we went and visited Grandpa Firetruck at the nursing home to wish him a Merry Christmas... we were hoping he would be feeling better and be able to join us that night for my family's Christmas celebration, but he was still pretty under the weather. All in all, we had a wonderful Christmas day.
