Well...I am trying to keep up with my goal of one post a day....didn't get this written last night...so it is going to be quick (because with Nash and Cruz around I am a little distracted!) So..I have a ton of pictures from the river this summer. We had a great time out there and we are SO happy we live so close to the river and are able to have a boat that we keep in Clayton and is SO easy to load up and take off!
The kids had a blast on the sandbar...usually Lola plays in the water, Keaton works on a project in the sand, and Nash just kind of wanders around. Usually he stays pretty far from the water...as I said previously...he is pretty cautious!
This first picture is of all 4 kids together! Cute!
The kids LOVE the ride out to the sandbar...but Nash is usually saying "Go Faster Daddy, Faster!"
Lola LOVES the river most of all.... and she is getting to be SO pretty!
This was one time that Nash actually braved the water....the goggles seem to give him a little confidence. He is so funny...if he is in the water (knee deep) and he falls over...he just flails around instead of standing up....we are always yelling "STAND UP NASH!!!"
Of course...the kids all take their turns driving on the way home....they LOVE this part!
Happy Kids!
Ummmm, on this day Keaton was building something in the sand....he said something about needing more sand and Nash took off running. I guess he saw some sand at the top of the hill :) so he proceeded to run up the hill and bring buckets and shovels full of sand down for Keaton. I guess that sand was better up there....
Keaton working on one of his projects....
These last pictures are of the kids and their best friend this summer, Dolpha. They have used this blow up dolphin all summer in our pool at home AND on the river. The thing about Dolpha is that she really doesn't stay upright...so the fun is that you get on her and try not to tip over. I think that they think they are bull riders.....
Well....those are my best pictures from the river....stay tuned....I am getting to the random pictures from the summer soon!
