whobody is a little league star?

Wowza! It has been a busy busy busy month...and I have not gotten caught up on here. I am just going to take a couple of minutes and post a little about Little League and Tee Ball. These 2 consumed the first part of our summer (along with Bible school and swimming lessons...yikes!)

First....Keaton has moved up to the Pitching Machine level of Little League.  He had a blast playing ball this year and has really improved since last year. We coached his tee ball team last year and coached his pitching machine team this year. It is amazing to see how far all of the kids have come in just a year!  As coaches we have a lot of fun at the games and really enjoy getting to know Keaton's classmates and their parents.  Keaton's games were every Sunday and Wednesday night which kept us very busy.  Most of the time we had a grandma or an aunt there to help take care of the 2 little boys and Lola while Keaton played and we coached...and a few times they all just hung out in the dugout.

Next up...our Tee Ball star, Lola. This was Lola's first year of tee ball and she just loved it. We also coached her team and had a few challenges...but mostly lots of fun.  (again, good way to get to know the kids...) Lola's team was called the Zebras (she picked it).  They played on Saturday mornings and Monday nights...and we had either great friends or family to watch the little kids or the ole' dugout trick. Keaton, on the other hand, actually 'helped' us coach! He would give the kids tips on batting and playing catch....and eventually ended up being our first base coach!  (He was SO proud.)

And...a couple of pics of Nash and his treats (yes, he had popcorn and a ringpop 4 times a week for the whole month of June~ yumm).

Well..nothing too clever or exciting in this post...but I just really need to get caught up!!! So much going on this summer....so much to blog about...but SO little time! :)
