Yesterday was the 1st day of Keaton's THREE DAY birthday. :) He had some friends come over after school for a birthday party. We limited him to 7 (3 boys and 4 girls)...but he would have LOVED to have more. (In hindsight...8 is a very loud number) It is funny...I can walk into a classroom of 20 first graders and have no problem keeping them under control....but a birthday party is a completely different story....
Anyway...they rode the bus home with Keaton and we all had a blast. LUCKILY the weather was beautiful for the party...so I sent them outside for most of the afternoon.
First, a picture of the cupcakes... (I did not make these...I do LOVE Cuppacakes by Natalie though....awesome and very yummy cupcakes)
and now...the birthday boy... I had a treasure hunt for them to do....but they had to put on a green mustache before I would give them the first clue...then, of course, I took a picture of each kid in their 'thinking mustache'
hilarious...now a picture of them in the heat of the scavenger hunt (notice the very lovable kid in the back who gladly used the extra mustaches...very very very funny)
they played outside.....
and ate pizza
and of course....the CAKE!
and no birthday is complete without the presents....
we had a GREAT time...but it was pretty wild. Keaton really has some 'good kids' in his class...(and would have even liked to invite more.....) i don't think so.
